VERVE/FIESTA

The Ford Verve concept vehicle recently revealed at the Chicago Auto Show has officially been named the Ford Fiesta.  The Ford Fiesta is one of the best selling and most highly regarded Ford nameplates in the world.  When the Fiesta arrives in The United States as 2010 model, it will have the advantage of European inspired styling and handling characteristics.  It will also benefit from the performance (without sacrificing fuel economy)demanded by Europeans.  This will truly be a global car for Ford that will set a new standard in the U.S. for styling, fuel economy, and packaging not yet seen in this country, particularly in this vehicle market segment.
